Sakura gets to know Tsugeura and Kiryu, as previously apathetic Sakura has now started showing interest in his surroundings after getting involved in many happenings, finding his classmates are also interested in him.
Previously, in Wind Breaker Episode 10, the battle between Shishitoren and Bofurin was finally over and team Bofurin was having a hearty meal with Togame and Choji.
It was quite unnatural for Sakura to eat with someone they were fighting a while ago, but he had a conflict in his mind because he couldn’t call that a fight.
In the meantime, Togame apologized as he believed the blunder his teammates caused was somewhat due to his ignorance.
Choji couldn’t let his best friend bear the shame alone, so he also apologized.
But Choji was confused about one thing, which was, the reason, Umemiya chose to be a leader, and how he become one, as Choji learned firsthand, how a lonesome job, leadership can be.
Umemiya’s answer was simple, he wanted to be happy by making everyone else happy.
He said he couldn’t become a leader alone, many people’s hopes and dreams propelled him to be a leader, but this was the opposite of, what image Sakura had of a leader.
Sakura wanted to rise using his fist only, but now that seemed impossible because he didn’t know how to accept other’s emotions.
However, that was a misunderstanding on his part, as Umemiya made him understand by the example, of how he felt Togame’s emotions during his fight with him.
That was the quality of a leader, according to Umemiya.

How Was Tsugeura’s Impression On Sakura?
It was after the event of the fight with the Shishitoren. Goodness! Was that a huge event to remember or not?
The first instance is when Sakura learns how to communicate with someone by fists.
One can easily get lost in thoughts in the light of such an event, but how would Nirei and Suo know that?
As, Sakura wasn’t answering their calls, instead smirking along his way to school, they thought something good must’ve happened to him.
However, after catching up with Sakura, the three of them reached school only to find out, other students were giving them the looks.
Was it a new proclamation of war?
Apparently not, all of them were very curious about the event, which was, when Sakura fought with one of the Sishitoren members.
We all know that Nirei is the perfect guy for such descriptive explanations.
Tsugeura was among those curious classmates, but more than the fight, he was curious about something else.
He was curious about Sakura’s Virtue!!
More like what Sakura is particular about?
Even though he didn’t get an answer from Sakura, however, he found one great virtue in Nirei, which was his habit of keeping notes of cool and strong persons.
In general, Tsugeura came off as a fervent person to Sakura, who approached every matter with sincerity and great enthusiasm.
Nirei’s personality somehow clicked with Tsugeura’s.
Next, Tsugeura takes everyone to one of his favorite hangout places kind of forcefully.
His obsession with fitness and love for banana-flavored protein shakes also matched his hangout place’s vibe, it was a wrestling-themed restaurant, making foods with protein powder instead of flour!!
His unique food preferences and enthusiastic personality came off as a new one to Sakura.
Later, when Sakura found out, that Tsugeura’s virtue in his wrestler-like fight was always to show off others first and then himself, that was weird for him.
However, we will discuss that fight in a little bit.
How Was Kiryu’s Impression On Sakura?
After Sakura, Suo, and Nirei go to Tsugeura’s favorite restaurant with him, they meet Kiryu there.
Previously, Sakura didn’t have much of an impression of Kiryu when he was at school, as Kiryu was always glued to his phone, but this time was different.
Kiryu came inside the restaurant, holding hands with a girl, Sakura had been single all along, so it was too much of a stimulation for him to handle.
Kiryu greeted them, in a gentle and calm tone of voice, and went on to have privacy with that girl.
To divert his mind off the scene of Kiryu with a girl, he kept bugging Nirei about Kiryu’s strength stat, nonstop.
Even though Kiryu needed privacy, Tsugeura couldn’t read the room and kept on bothering Kiryu with his loud voice and fervent nature.
Though he didn’t have any bad intentions, however, his approaching method made that girl scared and that is what ticked Kiryu off.
After telling him off, Kiryu left the restaurant with the girl in a bit.
But, as soon as they left, Sakura and the team, heard someone shouting outside!!
They went out, to find Kiryu and the girl, surrounded by a group of thugs.
Kiryu told them about the reason, which led to that situation.
The reason was, that the girl was being harassed by that group of thugs and he helped her escape.
Now, they came back again for her.
So, she wasn’t Kiryu’s girlfriend!!
So, Tsugeura finally found out about Kiryu’s Virtue, which was to be considerate to the girls.
In the meantime, some thug launched an attack only to be blown back by Sakura, thus starting the battle.
Sakura, Kiryu, and Tsugeura did beat the hell out of them.
This fight sequence was quite fun to remember as Tsugeura fought like hell, Sakura protected Kiryu, and Kiryu fought cleverly.
So, to summarize, Kiryu is a gentle and soft-spoken guy, who is extremely considerate of girls and would go to any length to protect troubled girls.
Sakura Made Friends
The fight was over, and Kiryu learned about Sakura’s ambition to be at the top of Bofurin and informed him that Grade Captain would soon be decided.
But, not answering Sakura’s curiosity, he asked for his contact info.
As, it was a first for Sakura, that someone asked for his contact info, he was perplexed about how to do that.
Kiryu decided to put his contact information into Sakura’s phone directly, only to find that, he had only one contact in his list, weather!!
Well, considering Sakura’s past, that’s not entirely improbable.
Following Kiryu, Nirei, Suo, and Tsugeura, all of them exchanged contact info with Sakura and Sakura finally made some legit friends.
On the next day, as Sakura was glancing at the contact list on his phone at Cafe Pothos while having breakfast, Kotoha noticed that and playfully exchanged her contact info.
Upon being bombarded by messages about Grade Captain and not having the habit of messaging, he went straight to the school and demanded to know what a Grade Captain was.
He didn’t have to wait for long as the Grade Captain and Secondary Captains for the Tamon Team second-years, came to notify them of that matter.
All the big shots of the second-year Tamon Team, Enomoto, Kusumi, and Kaji were there.
Next, Enomoto asked for someone to assume the role of Grade Captain and explained this post’s responsibility, being responsible for the entire class and controlling and accommodating the class.
Suo Raised his hand only to recommend, Sakura!!
