All this series’s preparatory phase was maybe for this moment, for presenting the ultimate showdown between the epitome of wickedness Shigaeraki Tomura and Deku, which could be the deciding factor in the Hero vs Villain battle outcome.

Deku In My Hero Academia Episode 151
Since the beginning of the hero vs villain battle in this season, there have been scarce instances of Deku in action, and that finally flipped in My Hero Academia episode 151.
An improved version of Deku is presented in this episode, be it according to his physical prowess or mental fortitude, though just like in Paranormal Liberation War, Deku blew off his top after watching Bakugo and other heroes in deplorable condition, however, the character Lemellion was used here as a catalyst to help him hold on his sanity.
The most anticipated Second inheritor of One For All Kudo’s quirk was unleashed in this episode brilliantly, with the most beautiful and dynamic animation yet, where Deku shined the brightest.
Deku is shown as compassionate as ever in My Hero Academia episode 151, where he is shown to be concerned about concern about the existence of Shimura Tenko’s persona’s existence in Shigaraki Tomura’s body which was supposedly totally taken over by All For One.
The most impactful scene in My Hero Academia episode 151 maybe was, where Deku was combining all the quirks of all the predecessor holders of One For All quirk and had their afterimage behind him.
However, another scene is worthy of contending in My Hero Academia episode 151 with this scene where Deku blows the ultimate strike to Tomura using Kudo’s quirk.
However, in this episode, not much of the psychological aspect of Deku was displayed, still, a nice action sequence can never do injustice to a hero series.
So, all of Deku’s actions, majorly fight sequences were enough to keep this episode captivating.
Shigaraki Tomura In My Hero Academia Episode 151
Although in My Hero Academia episode 151, Shigaraki Tomura only gets beaten one-sidedly by Deku, at some point, All For One inside him gets stimulated inside him even for a little while.
In this episode, All For One and Shigaraki Tomura’s synergy took a big hit, and for a small instance, it was shown with a dedicated animation with the right approach.
Otherwise, the struggling Shimura Tenko inside him was shown in such detail that among all the flashy action sequences that short moment is quite eye-catching.
As expected, Shigaraki Tomura getting pulverized by Deku and his body structure crumbling down little by little is probably quite satisfying to watch for those who were immersed in the mayhem caused by him in the previous episode.
Animation Quality In My Hero Academia Episode 151
My Hero Academia episode 151 probably contains the best quality animation in this season yet, especially the action sequence of Deku vs Shigaraki Tomura is the main focus.
Although in this season all the special effects come with some wordy expressions like in Manga, which sometimes could be irritating, however, in this episode, due to some excellent action scenes those inconveniences don’t come into sight that much.
Otherwise, each time Deku uses a different quirk the impact is something else, however, the facial animation of Deku seemed somewhat stiff in those sequences, so if there is any drawback there is one.
The most impactful animation was when Deku used the Detroit Smash in his 120% power output.
Except for the action sequences, there was the flashback scene of All For One painted crimson, where he was killing Kudo, the second holder of One For All, that scene was the perfect depiction of purgatory.
So, including all those above factors, it was quite a satisfactory and at the same time captivating animation from My Hero Academia episode 151.
Final Thought
Why My Hero Academia episode 151 is worthy of the crown among the episodes released before it, is mainly because it’s short but significantly more brilliant and captivating animation of action sequences.
Otherwise, nothing major turn of events transpired in this episode.
In a sense, this episode could be considered a connecting episode of its previous episode with its upcoming episode.
However, that doesn’t make it less important, since this episode opens another possibility where Shigaraki Tomura to be more precise Shimura Tenko, also has a chance for salvation, since after being blown by Deku it was shown that All For One’s ego inside Tomura was wavering.
So, as All For One struggled once again to survive inside Tomuras’s body, a chance for another twist is imminent.
However, we won’t know what may transpire until we watch the next episode, so stay tuned…
