About Wingnall Lindor And His Impression On Will Serfort
Wingnall Lindor was declared to be a failure at the very end of the previous episode, and in Wistoria Wand And Sword episode 10, we get the reason, why.
Well, until now, he has been shown to be somewhat conceited and condescending, so it’s understandable if the viewers don’t get his complex in this episode.
However, showing his vulnerability to Will does deepens the bond between them which was a target of this episode which could be essential for further story development.
Now, the reason Wingnall is inferior among his race is very similar to Will’s.
He had a really low aptitude for magic.
However, unlike Will, who didn’t give up, he soon broke down in the face of adversity.
To satiate his ego, he started mocking those under him.
Only he stayed in the Academy for the whole six years among others in his race.
However, despite that loser-like mentality he still had a yearning just like Will who longed to reunite with Elfaria on the tower.
Wingnall also had a person whom he aspired to reunite with, who was also the Magia Vende just like Elfaria, the Queen of the elves, and high elf by birth, Ellenor Ljos Alf.
This similarity sparked a unique chemistry between Will and Wingnall, and as Will’s personality is portrayed, he doesn’t shy away from admiring Wingnall for his aspiration and trusts him unconditionally.
This fact was established in the event where Notorious Monsters Balkars strikes and Will trusts Wingnall enough to plunge headfirst in the hope of Wingnall completing an incomplete spell to attack that took almost all his youth but he still couldn’t complete.
Previous to that event, during battles with other monsters, Will also trusted his back to Wingnall, and those instances were proof enough to show Will’s trust in Wingnall and Will’s overall impression of Wingnall.
Other Teammates In Wistoria Wand And Sword Episode 10
Lihanna Owenzaus, Sion Ulster, and Julius Reinberg were in a somewhat perilous situation in the depth of the dungeon, to be precise on the 11th floor, as shown in Wistoria Wand And Sword episode 10.
Well, the tag team of Julius and Sion was kind of like frenemies reforming with absolute efficiency to fight off the Sentinels that according to Sion were the source of humiliation for him in the front of Will.
Sion’s ever-competitive nature and Julius’s snobbiness added the perfect spice to this episode with rather a serious vibe.
Besides that, Lihanna along with Colette were navigating through the dungeon in search of their teammates while Colette was leaving their trace by dropping gemstones on the path.
Lihanna opened up about her complex about her being not enough strong to climb the tower and compared herself with Elfaria who was competent enough to become Magia Vende at the youngest age in history, however, this instance did create a moment in which Colette and Lihana began to understand each other more, and by doing that this episode starts to make this two character more compatible with each other which can come in handy in later story development.
All those efforts Wistoria Wand And Sword episode 10 put forward to build up rapport among the teammates come in handy to some extent at the end of this episode, like, when two newly debuted villains came face to face with Collette and Lihanna and the rest of the team came in time to their rescue, and the whole team seemed to be performing with better synchronization.
So, in other words, to reach this point, the story of this episode was incorporated with those bond-building events.
Final Thought
So, after going through the Wistoria Wand And Sword episode 10, it seems that this episode is more about setting up the characters in Will’s team with enough info and creating bonds between them to build up a real team out of them for the sake of future story development.
So, for the next episode, a more team-oriented and character-rich(not only Will Serfort) story could be expected.
