Bye Bye Earth Episode 3 Review: A Society

Posted on July 27, 2024July 27, 2024 By swetabjya No Comments on Bye Bye Earth Episode 3 Review: A Society

In Bye Bye Earth episode 3, Lablac Belle is supposed to fight in a duel or, as said in the Park City of Schwert Land, in a Schwert Musik.

previously, in Bye Bye Earth episode 2, Lablac Belle started her journey to become a nomad, and came across a Rabitia kid, saving it brought more trouble to her, and she was apprehended for breaking evildoer’s swords.

Such an unjust society.

However, she was able to get released with the help of her Brother-disciple Guff, an official of the Kingdom, and was presented before the king.

King tasked her with a duel with one of the four greatest swordsmen of Kingdom Kir Royale to prove her worth before she could get official permission to become a nomad.

To know what happened next, keep an eye on Bye Bye Earth episode 3.

Battle To Entertain God In Bye Bye Earth Episode 3

Schwert Musik is a ritual of battle using swords, to appease the god, which happens close to the eye of the king, who is said to be the closer existence to the god.

So, the battle between Lablac Belle and one of the four greatest swordsmen of the kingdom, Kir Royale was eminent in Bye Bye Earth episode 3.

Many major individuals were spectating the duel, such as Guff one of the emperor’s top swords, the mysterious Adonis.

Belle had already faced Kir Royale once in her childhood in a duel and broke his sword, which Kir had given his all in bringing up.

However, Kir didn’t give up at that point and put all his efforts into growing his sword again, which is now named “Lived”.

In this world, swords seemed to be something every holder values more than their life just like we value our materialistic wealth or talent over our life more.

The swords grow along with their wielder and shattering one’s sword means more incriminating than killing someone, or it will be safe to say, it’s more like a social taboo.

Despite being overwhelmingly strong, Belle had doubts about winning against Kir, since she was suffering from her nomad curse, which is not being able to cut anything except some unknown kind of selected objects.

However, she had to go along with the duel either way, so she settled her heart and partnered with Runding to battle with Kir.

The battle was something so much more obvious, since even now, Belle was a cut above Kir, and after exchanging some pointers, Belle defeated Kir effortlessly.

Belle was a cut above Kir, and after exchanging some pointers

However, it was required of the winner to cut down the loser.

It was nearly impossible for Belle since her curse restricts her from that act, so she had no other choice except, to do the unthinkable according to the social norm of the Park City, break the sword of Kir, facing a lot of condemnation.

Characters Hidden In The Darkness

Some hidden characters came to light in Bye Bye Earth episode 3.

Dram is one of them, in this world, where swords are seen as sentient objects, wordsmiths don’t exist, sword creators exist and she is one of them.

Dram

She is quite a mysterious person who worries about mysterious aspects of the kingdom and the world.

In her conversation with a supposedly dead teacher of Belle, Sian, she expresses her worry about the army of ghoul-like creatures named the Army of Insatiable Emptiness.

Dram seems to know about Belle and calls her the girl of reason, according to Sian, who will go to such places where they couldn’t reach with the help of the teaching of Sian left inside and with the help of sword Runding, which was created by Dram herself.

Sian seemed to be planning something big enough that required him to be out of sight of the King and even God.

After Sian’s sword was shattered, his student Belle graduated, and he was relieved of his duty, there was nothing to stop him, and not even a bond like the brother of the King was enough to keep him bound.

On the other hand, a character like Kitty the All appears whose physical vessel seems to be the kid from Rabitia, who was accompanying Belle named Kitty the Nothing.

Kitty the All

Kitty the All seemed to be an all-knowing existence at first glance, but he also seemed to be waiting in awe, for what in Belle’s future unfolds.

From, stopping the under-dog knights from seeking retribution from Belle by using a unique item known as Holy Ashes and repairing their swords, to getting back a stolen important object of Belle and the essence of one dearest memory of her by using song, in a world where song is only used for dull reasons like productivity or creation, Kitty the All does his part efficiently.

All in all, there seemed to be more hidden characters in Bye Bye Earth episode 3.

Accepting Old For Accepting New Begining

After winning the duel in the presence of the King, Belle was tasked with three Schwert Musik, and more, which may help her to turn the curse she is burdened with into a blessing.

The first mission was, to save the east city of the under-dogs, from the clutch of evil swordsmen, where Belle’s parents reside.

But, Belle was informed very late, and it seems that as much the evil side does things out of order, the more the good side does things in order, which is sometimes very inefficient.

This description somehow mirrors the laws and regulations in our world, which sometimes seem to fall short compared to crime due to a more methodical approach to law.

While saving her parents, Belle seems to be able to cut things, so there is a hint, that she may be able to cut things if it is for saving others.

However, it has been many years since she met with her adoptive parents, whom she thought had given up on her, seemed to remember her dearly instead, and named their biological daughter after her!!

This is where she loses an important object that was given to her by her adoptive parents in her childhood and gives up since she already has decided to become a nomad.

However, here Kitty the All’s existence becomes important since he brings the essence of the fond memory Belle had with her adoptive parents, along with the important object.

After realizing that there is no need to surpass old to welcome new change, all Belle has to do is accept both old and new together, since both are important she truly becomes capable of taking one step forward.

To know what will be the next step in Belle's journey, stay tuned for next episode...
