I Parry Everything Episode 9: Anime Review

Posted on August 30, 2024September 6, 2024 By swetabjya No Comments on I Parry Everything Episode 9: Anime Review

I Parry Everything episode 9 is yet another spectacle of the entire series of I Parry Everything and on a larger scale than the previous episodes.

The previous episode was about a large natural destruction, a dragon, and this time an army of 10,000 with enough firepower to bring that same Dragon to the ground.

So, to grasp this ever-growing level of intensity that is displayed in each episode, we need to first discuss I Parry Everything episode 9.

Table of Contents

  • Escalation Of Situation In I Parry Everything Episode 9
  • Cliche Perspective Of Enemy
  • Uncanny Fighting Sequence
  • Final Thought

Escalation Of Situation In I Parry Everything Episode 9

Unlike the previous episode where a gigantic Dragon appeared as a single enemy, this time in I Parry Everything episode 9 a more formidable number of opponents appears.

this time in I Parry Everything episode 9 a more formidable number of opponents appears

Magic Empire Deridas and its army of 10,000 soldiers with their advanced Magic Sword, Magic Shield, and Magic Armor, literally came fully prepared to wage war against the Clays Kingdom, Noor’s home country.

They even had their deadly weapon of mass destruction Brionac, capable of hunting down a disaster-class Dragon, along with the strongest shield ever, Aegises.

Well, against that many odds, it was clear to even dense-headed Noor that escape was the best option but he had to plunge into the war either way since Lynne simply misunderstood his intention.

All of these happenings are kind of like the previous episode, where Noor had to fight the Dragon unwillingly since his previous plan deviated, which was escaping.

Well, it’s a letdown that, also in this episode the battle seemed to conclude in a breeze even more easily than in the previous episode.

It feels lacking even more so because the buildup to the war sequence is quite lengthy but the ending is too much anticlimactic.

The war phase came off as a twist since after Rolo convinced the Dragon to leave for its nest, it seemed like the danger of the Clays Kingdom was over.

But when the dragon was shot down from the sky suddenly by the weapon of Magic Empire Deridas, it was quite a shocker, since the situation escalated very quickly from there to the ambush of the 10,000 army of Magic Empire Deridas.

Cliche Perspective Of Enemy

Magic Empire Deridas’s reason for planning to wage war against the Clays Kingdom was revealed previously in previous episodes again and again, which is to claim the most important dungeon to excavate its relics, and in I Parry Everything episode 9 they executed that plan.

Although it’s quite an obvious outcome, still the way it is shown in this episode, especially with a little bit of twist, makes it refreshing to watch.

The obvious plan of attack the Kingdom after weakening its defense by luring in a Dragon, and bringing in the big guns for an invasion, is all within the range of expectation.

There seemed to be an attempt to include a unique character in the enemy camp, Randeus, who was against the war, but he was used only for the sake of showing the Emperor’s cruelty, not the mindset of citizens, if the latter part was focused on, it could’ve been more interesting, but, well, all we can do is to go with the flow after all.

Except for all that, nothing else of more importance really comes to mind, since all there is about the perspective and plan of the enemy camp is more or less already revealed in the previous episodes.

Uncanny Fighting Sequence

The battle sequence in I Parry Everything episode 9 isn’t something extraordinary but uniquely humorous.

Unlike the fight with Deadman Zado, there seemed to be not many challenges, well it’s expected since Zado was a powerhouse capable of obliterating a nation’s armed force.

However, the way the sequence is presented is quite uncanny.

Noor parried countless shields and swords of 10,000 armies, even the gigantic defense system Aegises, and the top-of-class attacking equipment Brionac.

It was quite weird but funny to see all those shields and swords falling down from the sky like rain.

The most probable reason for Noor’s smile was his nervousness while facing the Emperor of Magic Empire Deridas, however Emperor’s misconception about Noor’s smile to be a wicked one of someone who is going to torture him made the Emperor wet his pants.

This was yet another funny situation though a very cliche one.

All In all, the overall battle sequence although not very long and complicated, was quite uncanny and enjoyable for its satisfying and humorous conclusion.

Final Thought

I Parry Everything episode 9 isn’t an episode with much spiced-up content, but it keeps the story clean and simple and shows it humorously.

only a single and small event is presented here like in other episodes, which makes this easy to watch though.

So, I Parry Everything episode 9 is ultimately a similar watch like other episodes unlike episode 7, so let’s see what the next episode has in store for us.
