Now the time has come for Tanjiro’s training with Love Hashira, Kanroji Mitsuri, but wait, that’s not all? He will train with other Hashiras also, in Demon Slayer season 4 episode 5?
Previously, in Demon Slayer season 4 episode 4, Tanjiro had to train with Tokito Muichiro, the Mist Hashira.
He probably had the most favorable impression of Tanjiro among other Hashiras after their life-and-death experience at Swordsmith Village together.
But, the same wasn’t the case for other cadets, he was much harsher on them.
After meeting Mr. Kanamori, who was a refugee from Swordsmith Village, he cooked up a plan to compete with Muichiro in his favorite game to make him open up with others.
The game was of paper plane flying which ended up opening a new possibility of relationships for Muichiro with others.
After completing his training there, Tanjiro progressed to his next training destination, Love Hashira, Kanroji Mitsuri’s place.

How Was The Training With Love Hashira For Tanjiro?
Tanjiro enjoyed quite a lavish welcome, as Love Hashira and Kanroji Mitsuri welcomed him with lots of treats.
There were freshly baked sweet pancakes with butter and honey on the top.
There was a “Say Ah” moment also, Mitsuri feeding Tanjiro!!
I know a lot of you are bleeding tears.
Actually, since her childhood, Mitsuri always felt the lack of love in her life, so she never let go of a chance to appreciate others.
But what she doesn’t know, is that she now has a lot of admirers.
Tanjiro, you better keep yourself together, Kanroji devotees(cough>Iguro<cough) are watching!!
Enough with that, let’s move on to the training.
The first criterion of the training was to wear a leotard!!
A bunch of Bushi are jumping around in leotards…….way to crack open a pot of comic relief!!
The main focus point of that training program was to increase the flexibility of the body, in which Mitsuri excels.
Bending and twisting one’s body to its limits, yes, is as strenuous as it sounds, not like the flowery heaven we imagined after seeing Mitsuri’s face.
It was hell for those with rigid bodies like Tanjiro.
How Was The Training With Snake Hashira For Tanjiro?
This time there were not even pleasantries waiting for Tanjiro at Snake Hashira’s place, as he went there with his shaky and loose body after his training with Love Hashira.
Somehow Snake Hashira Iguro Obanai wasn’t very happy to see him coming from Kanroji Mitsuri’s training session.
Things got even worse when Obanai got a letter from Mitsuri’s messenger crow, with details on how she enjoyed her time with Tanjiro.
Well, I guess we all know, why Iguro(Kanjiro devotee) was so out of it.
If there were no laws, Iguro may have already killed him ten times over!!
Obanai somehow suppressed his anger and introduced the training course, a “man” made obstacle course, made by man, made for man, and made with…….”man”!!
Yes, such a thing was done to those, who somehow irked Obanai with their weakness.
Some cadets had themselves tied on some wooden planks with their mouths sealed shut and in the gap of those planks, some metallic targets were placed, which Tanjiro had to hit precisely.
Is it some old kung-fu movie with half-crazy Shifu?
In the beginning, he didn’t seem to be able to hit the targets with enough speed or precision, since he could almost hear the silent screams of terror from those cadets.
That was why, to speed up the process, Obanai himself took up the training sword and joined in for a duel with Tanjiro.
The sword style Obanai used appeared as a snake slithering through obstacles, to naked eyes, and was nearly impossible to dodge for Tanjiro.
After going through such rigorous training every day, he even did some extra training on the side, which impressed those cadets, thus forming a good bond.
Every day they would come out wounded from training together and enter the hot bath only to scream in chorus!!
On the fifth day, he finally made some progress.
Tanjiro visualized the entire training zone as a forest and obstacles as trees or rocks, and after blocking some blows from Obanai, he managed to land a blow successfully on him.
This success concluded his training, but Obanai was the same as the first day while sending him away, even though it seemed that he was more irritated than before!!
He even warned him not to be too close to Kanroji.
Okay, okay, we get it, you like her, but don’t have the guts.
I didn’t know Iguro can also be cute!!
How Was The Training With Wind Hashira For Tanjiro?
The next scheduled trainer was Shinazugawa Sanemi, the Wind Hashira, on his way there Tanjiro met with Zenitsu, running away from something as usual.
Oh!! How much I’ve missed him!!
Zenitsu was, crawling around like a cockroach, crying fountains, and nagging a ton after meeting Tanjiro, demanding to help him escape.
Zenitsu was a tad bit late, his doom was standing behind him, the Wind Hashira, Shinazugawa Sanemi.
He was the very same person, who was against Nezuko’s(Tanjiro’s demonized sister) immunity in Demon Slayer Corp. and stabbed her to check her nature as a demon.
Sanemi simply knocked Zenitsu out cold and told Tanjiro to carry him to the location.
He warned Tanjiro not to gloat much, as he didn’t accept him as one of his own yet.
The same was true for Tanjiro also, he said that he didn’t accept Sanemi also, because Sanemi did harm his sister Nezuko.
What a wonderful start, mutual enmity is the new future of progress!!
Now, as for the training with Sanemi, it was simple but hellish, like a tornado.
All the cadets would charge at him altogether and Sanemi would retaliate relentlessly and mercilessly.
This process would continue until the end of the day or until someone manages to get a hit in Sanemi.
This process continued until any potential winner came up which didn’t come.
Tanjiro chanced upon Sanemi being pursued by his brother Genya for a conversation, which he was vehemently denying.
Genya was trying to apologize to his brother for his past misunderstanding and misbehavior, about which we got to know in Swordsmith Village Arc.
In the spur of the moment, he mistakenly disclosed to his brother that he had eaten a demon to fight more, and that was it, Sanemi literally blew off his top.
If Tanjiro Didn’t come to rescue Genya right on time, he may have been seriously wounded.
Both of them were hurled outside of the house, breaking doors.
Here, Zenitsu’s reaction was quite fun to see, as he heard the crackling sound of wooden floors as Sanemi’s feet hit them, and finally watching Sanemi come Zenitsu shouted ” Old Guy’s on a rampage”.
Now, coming back to the point, Sanemi did put two options forward for Genya.
One was leaving Demon Slayer Corp. on his own accord and the second option was to get clobber beyond recovery.
Tanjiro knew Genya’s dedication and his achievement in the battle against the demons in Swordsmith Village.
He couldn’t accept this treatment towards Genya and jumped to interrupt Sanemi’s further advancement with all the other cadets.
That incited a brawl, which continued until Dusk.
After that, everything went off track, Tanjiro was reprimanded by higher up, his training with Wind Hashira was suspended, and he was banned from going near Sanemi.
In this total mess, what remained unchanged was Shinazugawa brothers and their unfriendly relationship.
Who Is The 6Th Hashira To Train With?
Next, Tanjiro and Zenitsu set out for the next training venue, which was deep within a mountain.
After a long way in, they found a big waterfall, and Inosuke and some other cadets were Chanting mantras under it striking poses in bare bodies under that!!
And it was Stone Hashira, Himejima Gyomei, who was in charge of them.
