Tower Of God Season 2 Episode 12: Anime Review

Posted on September 24, 2024October 2, 2024 By swetabjya No Comments on Tower Of God Season 2 Episode 12: Anime Review

Tower Of God season 2 episode 12 does continue from its previous episode’s event but the content gets more complicated and entangled as the story progresses.

After watching the previous episode it may be clear to all the viewers that the normal and repetitive flow of the storyline of Tower Of God season 2 has changed its course, and taken a more complicated and chaotic form to present more surprise in the story.

Well, in Tower of God season 2 episode 12 this chaos grows bigger as some team changes, and a clash of interests happens.

With new encounters and a bit of drama, this episode launches off.

Table of Contents

  • Change Of The Regular Story pattern
  • Important Factors That Somewhat Dictate the Direction Of The Story
  • Final Thought

Change Of The Regular Story pattern

The story of Tower Of God season 2 up till now has been somewhat repetitive and of the same pattern, with just the team of the main characters participating in some strict and rule-bound tests to qualify for climbing the Tower of God.

However, Tower Of God season 2 episode 12 broke that norm by introducing some equally important foreign enemies and some similarly important foreign factors.

Tower Of God season 2 episode 12 broke that norm by introducing some equally important foreign enemies

The rabbit-eared girl, shown in the previous episode, and the official Demon Of Right Hand Cassano are those antagonistic characters that, along with some exceptional circumstances, change the story’s route.

There are also, two team members of Khun Aguero Agnis, among whom Ran was also included get caught in the scheme of the Cassano team whose sole reason for existence is to make Jue Viole Grace a symbol of terror and charisma.

Besides that, Khun getting rescued by Viole’s team clearly helped the story start on a new route.

What sets the stage for some entirely out-of-the-box plot is the team shuffle.

After the demise of one member of Khun’s team and another member Dan became near crippled he had no other choice but to join hands with Viole’s team for Workshop Battle.

Well, there were other reasons, if you remember correctly, in the previous episode, Khun showed suspicion about Viole’s true identity, as he guessed him to be Baam, so when in Tower Of God season 2 episode12 he finds out Viole’s true identity as Baam and faced the fact, that only by winning the Workshop Battle following Viole’s team can save Viole, he was compelled to take that chance.

On the other hand, Viole had to join the team of Cassano for Workshop Battle as Khun’s teammates were under the dangerous grip of those villains.

So, from here on, once companions become competitors, the story takes a weird but entertaining turn.

Important Factors That Somewhat Dictate the Direction Of The Story

Besides all the main events there are some sub-events or minor but important factors that did dictate the direction of the story of Tower Of God season 2 episode 12.

Among them, Rachel and other betrayers of Khun’s team killing one member and crippling another while deserting the team did fast-track the process of Khun joining hands with the team of Jue Viole Grace in his absence.

On the other hand, the other two members of Khun’s team including Ran had to join Cassano’s team forcibly which literally emptied Khun’s team and made it impossible to join the upcoming Workshop Battle, so this also was one of the reasons for the team shuffle.

So, in short, these minor but important factors were crucial for the story flow.

Final Thought

After pondering over the Tower Of God season 2 episode 12, I could come to only one conclusion which is, that this episode is a junction point for this season, from where a probable change can come very easily.

On the other hand, that doesn’t make this episode absolutely the best, but one can consider it a good appetizer that may or may not lead to an exciting turn of events in the next episode.
