Tower Of God Season 2 Episode 13: Anime Review

Posted on October 2, 2024October 2, 2024 By swetabjya No Comments on Tower Of God Season 2 Episode 13: Anime Review

In Tower Of God season 2 episode 13 we will see all of the shuffled teams getting acquainted with each other and a small glimpse of them performing together.

In the previous episode, on one side Jue Viole Grace and two of the team members of Khun Aguero Agnes were forced to join another team of FUG Slayer worshippers, while Khun himself after losing one of his teammates due to the betrayal of two other of his teammates and Rachel had no other path open except join team with Viole’s past team, after learning Viole’s true identity from one of the FUG members and also learning the condition to save Viole.

So, in short Viole and Khun, are both stuck in the internal strife of FUG to be precise, and carrying forward this complicated issue, Tower Of God season 2 episode 13 delivers a somewhat less impactful, preparatory episode, that would lead to the Workshop Battle on the 30th floor of the tower.

Team Arrangement And It’s Complication

Well, since Khun and Viole’s team had no other choice but to team up in order to complete the test of Workshop Battle, Tower Of God season 2 episode 13 puts all of them together.

Tower Of God season 2 episode 13 puts all of them together

However, the process shouldn’t be as simple as that, and the bonding as shown in Tower Of God season 2 Viole had with his teammates shouldn’t be so fragile that they would move on and make amend by teaming up with others even for the sake of saving Viole.

Though a little bit of resistance from the Wangnan Ja is shown at this point, that isn’t to the extent, that one could call it a real rejection, that was simply his retaliation due to his bruised strong ego.

On the other hand, none of the other team members seem to be the slightest bit against the idea of Khun joining the team and proceeding as if Khun is their long-lost comrade.

What’s more, after joining the team, Khun seemed to have assumed the role of a self-proclaimed leader by solidifying his authority and didn’t suffer even one bit of backlash from the members.

All of those unnatural consequences seemed so out of place that it was quite difficult to follow the overall story of Tower Of God season 2 episode 13.

On the other side, Viole and Khun’s other two team members, who were forced to join the team of FUG Slayer Worshippers, I mean Cassano’s team, along with Horyang Kang, yes Kang is alive, showed a little bit realistic reaction, like hidden resistance, since they had to keep the secret of Khun’s survival.

Most of all, Viole’s bluff of following and leading that team actively while trying to cook up a plan to overturn the table on them, was quite believable, but somewhat lacking.

So, all in all, the whole process of team arrangement went unnaturally smooth in Tower Of God season 2 episode 13, and that is one of the major flaws of this episode that downgraded its entertainment value.

Final Thought

Nothing else entertaining happens in Tower Of God season 2 episode 13 except a somewhat funny training session involving now Khun’s team, Khun experiences weak teammates’ weakness for the first time, and some instances where Wangnan and other teammates strive to do their best in their upcoming Workshop Battle.

Even all of these sequences didn’t add much entertainment value to the Tower Of God season 2 episode 13, and for that reason, this episode failed to carry the nice flow that the previous episode created.

And, for that reason, it’s crucial to wait for the next episode and see what it can deliver.
