Protagonist And His Surrounding In Why Does Nobody Remember Me In This World Episode 1

The Protagonist of Why Does Nobody Remember Me In This World episode 1 Kai belongs to the Humanity Aegis Agency of the Urza Federation, responsible for observing and guarding the graveyards where The Demon race is being sealed.

The Protagonist of Why Does Nobody Remember Me In This World episode 1 Kai

Kai is overly duty-bound to his role and never misses his daily quota of observing the graveyard under the Vishal branch’s jurisdiction for 300 seconds, even though there’s no precedent of the Demon Race fleeing from their captivity in the last 100 years.

Kai also believes that the other three locations are also being tightly guarded like the location in his jurisdiction because if not done seriously and the Demon race escapes, there will be another great war.

Actually, in his childhood, he had quite a unique experience, when he went to observe the graveyard with one superior member of the Humanity Aegis Agency he felt as if he fell into the graveyard and saw all the sealed demons and the sword of the hero Sid, which made him even more desperate to guard the graveyard.

Even though there is no more threat of war, Kai still never lacks his daily and risky training to prepare to fight against all the other races.

Kai still never lacks his daily and risky training

His two other colleagues Ashran and Saki have close bonds with Kai but can’t accompany him in his cause for long because they are not regular soldiers, but civilians doing necessary military service.

On the other hand another important member of their group, Jeanne, who just became the youngest personnel to be transferred to the headquarters of the capital Urza to surpass her father, Urza Headquarter Chief.

Jeanne

So sooner or later Kai was bound to be a lone soldier with a great cause.

Altered Situation In Why Does Nobody Remember Me In This World Episode 1

Jeanne was supposed to come back from the headquarters after 2 years but Ashran and Saki would have been relieved of their duty at that time, so she decided to buy surprise gifts for them before going to the headquarters.

So, she met with Kai who just returned from his morning training, to shop for them, but something unexpected and unnatural phenomenon happened on the way, space seemed to be glitching and warping only in front of Kai!!

space seemed to be glitching and warping only in front of Kai!!

After a few moments, the surroundings entirely changed, it seemed like Kai was in a ruined city, and a gigantic devil was attacking him.

it seemed like Kai was in a ruined city

Fortunately, his self-defense tool was with him, so Kai used his quick wit to attack the demon repeatedly and finally managed to defeat it.

However, unbeknownst to him, there was another demon aiming for his life and getting caught off-guard, there was no way to escape from its attack, if help didn’t arrive.

A team of two people came to save him, and after it was revealed that they were Ashran and Saki, however, something seemed to be different, none of them recognized him, and there was no existence of Humanity Aegis Agency in exchange there existed Human Rebel Army or Resistance.

after it was revealed that they were Ashran and Saki

History also changed, humans lost to other races, and most of the world is now under the grasp of other four races, and the prophet and hero of humanity Sid also doesn’t exist.

Next, the other four races started to war amongst themselves for authority, while the Demon race overtook the Urza Federation, so humans had to leave the active cities to survive and live in the underground city.

On the other hand, Jeanne became the commander of the Resistance and was posing as a man.

Jeanne became the commander of the Resistance

Finally

With everything off the rail, there was no other option to ascertain the current condition of the world in Why Does Nobody Remember Me In This World episode 1 except checking out the location of the graveyard where a large number of the population of the Demon race was sealed in.

So, to check that, Kai went to the usual location where he used to patrol and found the monument in the graveyard where Demons were sealed, however, that was unsealed this time.

Just like his childhood, he fell through the monument again and this time also found the sword of Sid but this time he held that, and he found out that the sword is a key.

That key opened a door transporting Kai to a platform closer to the sky, where a half-demon, half-angel woman was bound by chains.

Weirdly enough, despite being from the enemy faction, she was asking for help from Kai!!

she was asking for help from Kai!!

Who is that woman?

Why is she bound there?

Why does she even believe Kai would help her?

To know the answer to those questions, stay tuned, for the next episode…
