Wind Breaker Episode 12: How To Answer Someone’s Trust?

Posted on June 21, 2024June 28, 2024 By swetabjya No Comments on Wind Breaker Episode 12: How To Answer Someone’s Trust?

Hi, it’s Wind Breaker episode 12, and Sakura is trusted with the important role of Grade Captain, but he doesn’t know how to answer someone who trusts him.

What’s more, he had never trusted anyone before this, so he didn’t expect anyone to trust him either.

Now, he has to learn how to trust people and answer to their trust, and the journey begins in Wind Breaker episode 12.

Previously, Wind Breaker episode 11, was mainly focused on Sakura making some new friends.

Tsugeura and Kiryu, both with polar opposite characteristics, came in contact with Sakura in their unique way.

While Tsugeura came off as a fervent person, curious about other’s way of life.

So it was no wonder he showed interest in Sakura’s way of life.

While Tsugeura was having a fun talk with Sakura, Suo, and Nirei in his favorite go-to restaurant, Kiryu came in with a girl, holding her hand.

At first, everyone thought of her as his girlfriend, but soon that misunderstanding was cleared off as they found Kiryu and that girl, who were surrounded by some thugs.

They learned that she was saved by Kiryu previously while being harassed by those same thugs.

Sakura, Tsugeura, and Kiryu rained down on those thugs like there was no tomorrow.

After the fight was over and everything was settled nicely, both Tsugeura and Kiryu exchanged their contact info, with Sakura, and Nirei and Suo did the same.

He finally had his friend’s contact info, It was quite new to Sakura.

Then he learned about The Grade Captain selection, and showed his curiosity about that, but didn’t get his answer.

Somehow he was also able to get Kotoha’s contact info, that’s not important now.

What important was, that he was in school, and second-year Grade Captain, and his team, came to select the Grade Captain from Sakura’s class.

Suo easily recommended Sakura as the Grade Captain!!

The next happenings will be in Wind Breaker episode 12.

Sakura Was Chosen As Grade Captain In Wind Breaker Episode 12

Sakura, you are in quite a predicament, eh!!

Sakura, you are in quite a predicament, eh!!

From being a loner to reaching the point where everyone around trusts you so much, they agreed to be led by you!!

Right after Suo nominated Sakura as the Grade Captain, Tsugeura, Kiryu, and Nirei followed and affirmed that decision.

It was quite a big task for Sakura, as he didn’t know anything about mutual trust and support, and some time before he learned about those things’ importance in becoming a leader.

Though he had the grand goal of reaching the top of Bofurin, he didn’t even think about what to do after reaching the top, his goal was only to prove his worth to himself.

Well, that is to be expected since all Sakura did before coming to this town, was prove his strength to others so they wouldn’t underestimate him.

That habit has built up over time, distorting his personality.

That’s why, he was quite skeptical about accepting that position, so desperately pointed at Sugishita.

desperately pointed at Sugishita

Really!! Is he the only person you could think about?

Everybody can see, that Sugishita isn’t the type to lead others!!

If it was only Suo and the team, Sakura could’ve looked the other way and could’ve plain rejected the proposition, but the whole class agreed to Suo’s decision in unison.

the whole class agreed to Suo's decision in unison

Sakura took time out, to think about it, but the Grade Captain of the second-grade Tamon team, Kaji wasn’t so patient.

 Kaji wasn't so patient

What? Kaji is the Grade Captain?

I thought it was Enomoto!!

Kaji forcefully made Sakura into, Grade Captain for the first grade.

Case closed, and Sakura became the Grade Captain.

No, wait there are more to come.

Suo announced himself as Vice Grade Captain and chose Nirei as the third important person on the team.

Nirei was quite proactive in making a chatgroup for the whole class, they even got the contact number of the three leaders of the Tamon team, second year.

Watching Sakura all wishy-washy, Enomoto suggested he and his team join Kaji’s team in after-school patrolling and observe Kaji as he performs a Grade Captain’s duty.

How To Answer Other’s Trust?

Wind Breaker episode 12, does a great job in showing Sakura’s internal conflict.

Sakura follows Kaji in his afternoon patrolling while observing him closely accompanied by Suo and Nirei.

He didn’t want to miss any single detail of Kaji’s movement.

However, Nirei was nervous about that, as he knew of Kaji’s violent past.

But Sakura was as serious as he could get, he had to confirm something.

he had to know, what is an ideal leader, because the only leaders he had seen were Umemiya and Choji.

One was, an extremely good leader while the other was an extremely bad leader.

To be honest, it’s not easy to follow any of those as examples, as Umemiya was someone that a normal person can’t imitate.

Umemiya was someone that a normal person can't imitate

On the other hand, Sakura somehow compared himself to Choji as both of their motive to become strong were close to similar.

Sakura somehow compared himself
to Choji

As he had seen the outcome of Choji’s way of doing things, he had to find inspiration elsewhere.

So, when Kaji came as a potential example for Sakura to check out, he didn’t want to give up on that chance.

The chance came.

While patrolling, they met with an old woman whose granddaughter Risa seemed to have gone missing.

Now is the chance to see what Kaji’s leadership skill is.

Well, it was the intention, but Kaji disappointed Sakura by pushing the task on his subordinate Kusumi.

It was shocking for Sakura, as he hadn’t seen such an indifferent leader until now.

What was more shocking for him was that Risa wasn’t that old woman’s granddaughter but her pet cat!!

Risa wasn't that old woman's granddaughter but her pet cat!!

It was the time for a chase.

Sakura did some excellent parkour to capture that cat because he decided to capture it himself at any cost.

Sakura did some excellent parkour
Sakura did some excellent parkour
Sakura did some excellent parkour

But he couldn’t succeed in the end as the cat jumped into the river from a bridge.

It was Kaji, who came to the rescue at the last moment, jumping behind it.

It was Kaji, who came to the rescue at the last moment, jumping behind it

Since this event concluded in Wind Breaker episode 12, Sakura still couldn’t find an answer to how to make others trust him by proving his worth, so he decided to take a direct approach by making Kaji talk.

Sakura couldn’t find the justification for Kaji being the leader, since all he saw was Kaji slacking off till the last moment.

Sakura had to ask Kaji about his goals after he became the Grade Captain.

Surprisingly enough, Kaji didn’t have anything he wanted to do after obtaining his current position just like Sakura, he was doing what others expected of him.

Sakura was ticked off listening to that, I think he was angry at himself.

However, Sakura didn’t understand what Kaji meant to say but later understood after an explanation.

Kaji only did what he was best at while letting others do what they were best at, and by doing this he and his team created an environment of mutual trust.

This was Kaji’s method of answering to other’s trust.

What Sakura Can Do Since He Became The Grade Captain?

Sakura learned both Suo and Nirei depended on him as a leader, so he had to answer to their trust accordingly.

The next day, Sakura was at his regular go-to cafe, Pothos, having breakfast and worrying about what he could do for his class in return for their trust.

Perceptive Kotoha advised him, to first address his classmates with their names.

Kotoha was absolutely right, even I will get annoyed if someone keeps calling me “hey” or “you” all the time.

He tried that method at school with the help of Nirei, by the way, here’s the new info, Nirei seems to know the faces and names of all the students of Furin High!!

Well, Nirei is kick-ass in his own way, after all, he is also a member of Bofurin.

Nirei is kick-ass in his own way

As Sakura was learning the names according to faces, with the help of Nirei, Sakura noticed a wounded student named Anzai, did that foreshadow some future event?

Sakura noticed a wounded student named Anzai

After listening to Nirei’s talent, Suo decided on the role of him, and Nirei accordingly, Suo’s role would be of a mediator.

So, in Wind Breaker episode 12, Sakura decides his role as a leader, which was, depending on his teammates, while supporting them with his all.

Grade Captains Assembles

Umemiya announced to all the Grade Captains of all the grades and their subordinates to be present at the rooftop.

Following that announcement, Sakura and his team went up to the rooftop to find it was already crowded with other Grade Captains and their teams.

What everyone was waiting for, was the grand entrance of Umemiya and the four kings and their subordinates.

At last, they came…Now where this situation will lead to, to know that, stay tuned to the next episode…

At last, they came...
